About Vari
Vari McKechnie is a creative, writer and coach to creative freelancers and entrepreneurs.
With more than 2 decades of experience as a graphic designer, she works on a variety of projects, ranging from business branding and website design to packaging and book design. She also takes on a small number of illustration projects.
As a writer, Vari's work centres around the theme of courage - how we can cultivate more of it so we can step more fully into the life that we most want to live.
Her first book, Seeds of Courage, published in September 2023, is a collection of stories, ideas, and snippets of wisdom on how to live a big life through small and gentle acts of courage.
In addition to her book, she has contributed her writing to platforms such as MamaMia, HuffPost, Thrive Global, Allbright, and Hello Sunday Morning.
As a certified coach, Vari helps folks simplify their live and business, reduce confusion and chaos, and cultivate more joy.
She works with small business owners and freelance types, and also those making the transition from employment to working for themselves.

Thursday 21 March

Finding YOUR Sweet Spot. Together we will take all the things that make you YOU and craft them into a beautiful, helpful and exciting offer that has your clients saying, "I can't believe this exists!"
12pm - 12:15pm (AEST)
Connection Time. Share some of your story. Get to know your workshop buddies. Ask q's.
12:15pm – 1pm (AEST)
Lunch. Get some food. Rehydrate. Get outside into the sun. Do some stretching.
1pm – 2pm (AEST)
Creating The Frame. We'll plan out the foundations of your offer including duration, pricing, pace, deliverables, communication plus how to surprise and delight your client in the most wonderful of ways.
2pm - 2:15pm (AEST)
Connection Time. Introduce your dog. Share your a-ha's. Tell us what you're grateful for.
2:15pm – 3pm (AEST)
Break. Have a dance party. Meditate. Eat a snack. Hug your kid / dog / partner / self.
3pm – 4pm (AEST)
Connecting With Clients. We'll look at where to connect with more of these ideal clients (in ways that don't rely on social media), and how to form authentic partnerships to gain (and give) referrals. This has been a game-changer in my own creative business.

Coworking Time. It's time to apply what you learned and create you offer! I will lead the group through a day of sustainable and productive creation time.
We set the intention to have a sellable offer ready for you to invite clients into by the end of the day. This focused container is incredibly powerful. I will be available on the chat to offer feedback, advice and answer questions through the day.
